Better Me 360 Week 2: Nutrition

It's week 2 of the Better Me 360 challenge!! How did everyone do last week? This week we are focusing on nutritional wellness which is definitely not my strong suit.  I will remind everyone right here, right now that I am not a nutritionist, not even close. I like to follow the 80-20% rule and focus more on intuitive eating more than any kind of diet. But I've never been to school for this subject and I don't focus too hard on this. No one suggest kale to me...everyone knows it's a lie when you say it tastes good (I'm kidding, kind of).

That being said, let's move on to this week's daily challenges.

Day 1: Drink 8 glasses of water today.
Day 2: Eat at least 2 servings of fruits and vegetables.
Day 3: Cut out one unhealthy snack out today.
Day 4: Stop eating before 7 PM tonight.
Day 5: Eat something whole today.
Day 6: Try a new food or recipe today.
Day 7: Treat yourself to any snack you've been craving lately.

What is your biggest struggle with nutrition?


  1. Desserts. I'm good at home but I eat out a lot and I can't skip them.

    1. I'm a big dessert fan too, though I almost never get desserts eating out but I eat them a lot at home!

  2. I did great with my water and fruits and veggies last week! I definitely felt like I hit reset at the start of the new year.

    My biggest struggle is grazing. I hate sitting down to meals, but I like picking here and there throughout the day.

    1. I struggle with water. I'm not a big soda drinker and I don't drink coffee or alcohol, but when I am choosing between plain water and something with flavor (milk, juice...) I usually pick the other. But I'm getting better at it!

  3. One thing I can work on is my water intake. I tend to not drink as much water in the winter.

  4. I agree with Kim's comment - my biggest struggle is water intake during the winter months.

  5. My big struggle is sugar. I don't think I crave it, per se, but I definitely LOVE how it tastes.

  6. I love how you have daily challenges! I have been trying to get in at least 8 glasses of water daily too!!
